Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just had them trim an apple tree and cut up a catalpa that fell. Excellent work. Great communication. Fair price. Punctual. Cleaned up after themselves. I asked them to leave the wood so I could use it for firewood and they nicely stacked it for me. Would highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joe and Michael were great. Very thorough and they were able to get in very quickly to do the trees and hedges along our pool. They worked well with other workers who were also working on our pool. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Michael and Joe were great to work with. Very professional from start to finish. Easy to schedule consultation, fair pricing, and got us on the books in a timely fashion. They showed up on time, worked incredibly hard, clearly had a lot of knowledge and experience, answered questions, made suggestions, completed a very large job, and then cleaned up like they'd never even been on site. We will be hiring them again for other projects. Highly recommend!

Ornamental Tree Pruning

You probably have some beautiful trees on your lawn, but like anything else you see every day, you learned to look past them and have not noticed they are starting to look a little shaggy. Just like a good haircut, professional pruning can really freshen up a whole property. Regular pruning also improves the health and longevity of your trees, preventing the buildup of dead interior branching which may invite disease. Let us help you realize your property’s potential! See our process

Shrub and Hedge Trimming

Shrubs and hedges habitually outgrow their planned landscaping dimensions. They will encroach on your windows, driveways, and sidewalks, and may even cause damage to your roof or siding. Homeowners can be driven to drastic action to reclaim their space, but excessive improper pruning can spoil the look of your shrubs, producing large bare patches. We can help you manage your shrubs at an acceptable size, while keeping them healthy and vigorous.

Canopy Trimming

Many homeowners undervalue their shade trees, which can dramatically reduce cooling bills and often add thousands to property values. Thick canopies can shade out lower branches, however, and the resulting deadwood accumulation may increase the likelihood and severity of storm damage. Thick canopies can also shade out your lawn and cause bald patches. We recommend regular canopy thinning for tree health and property safety.

Deadwood/Hazard Branch Removal

Interior branches inevitably die off as they are shaded out by the larger canopy. Deadwood invites fungus and rot which may work its way into the trees living tissue and cause its untimely demise. Large dead limbs may even pose a significant safety or property hazard. We use well practiced rigging techniques to remove those hazards safely. See our process

Tree Removal

The total removal of a tree is a big decision, and we prefer to think of it as a measure of last resort, but there are many reasons removal may be necessary, including trees causing foundation damage or presenting safety hazards. Tree removals are often complicated and delicate operations with significant risk of property damage if performed unprofessionally. These jobs should only be given to someone you really trust. See our process

Storm Damage Cleanup

Michigan’s wind and ice wreak havoc on thousands of trees every year. We’ll cut up and haul away your downed and damaged branches. We prioritize storm damage in our work schedule, but please note that we are NOT able to provide same-day emergency services.
